Last Day

Whaaa!!! Today is the last day of vacation and it has truly been a lovely time. Jim and I got a few days of just us time, a couple days of friend time and Maggie and Eva time. The boys have been great {knock on wood} and are really loving the lake air. Last night Maggie and I went out on the seawall where the waves were kickin' and the boys just stood there, looking into the wind while just breathing it all in. That being said, I know they will be thrilled tomorrow when they are back in their own home with a fenced in backyard that allows them the freedom to come and go as they like. I think, however, they've gotten so much more exercise and less nap time this week with all the walks which has left them slightly exhausted. They will certainly need a vacation after their vacation.

I've been having belly issues these last couple days which has left me NOT being comfortable working out. I've still walked Scout a shit ton and I've closed my rings on my Apple watch each day but I've just been feeling iffy. I'm FINALLY feeling better. In fact, when Maggie and Eva hit the road, I think I'll go to the Crew's Nest to do a bit of a workout. I need it.

Other than that, the day will consist of chill time, minus a few last jobs we needed to get done. We just finished up breakfast and Jim is varnishing the deck in the front at the lake front. After he finishes that, I'd like to hang a few pics and then it will be about time for lunch. I think Frosty's pizza is calling us but beyond that, I plan on hanging at the house.

Dinner tonight: We'll finish off any leftovers in the fridge. It's also Pat Sajak's last show on the Wheel. I feel like we need to watch that. I mean, it's an end of an era, right?

My plan for tomorrow is to get on the 8:30 ferry, however, I'm not in any big rush. I want to make sure the boys have  time to get a bit of energy out and I want to make sure their anti-anxiety meds have time to take effect. No big plans this weekend beyond that.

The next time I'll be up is during the week of the 23rd. I think Maggie, Eva (and friend) and I will come up for a few days and then I'll be home for a couple before coming back again on the 30th for the 4th with Jim in tow. I can't wait and it will be nice to be with the family who will be in and out over that time.

And that's all I've got. Time to go see if  Maggie needs any help getting her shit together. I'll be back on my summer schedule Monday (posting around 7:00-7:30. Happy Friday. Happy weekend. Later!
