Fed & Ready For The Day

Tuesday, June 4th...day 4 at the Bay. Doug and Lauren (with Cohen and friend in tow) got here yesterday around noon. Upon their arrival and after unpacking, we went to lunch at the PIB Brewery. It was good but holy moly our waiter a dummy. He was nice but just really thick. When we ordered our beers, he brought them out one at a time. The tap lines at the main bar were clogged and he had to get beers from the back but apparently he couldn't bring them all at once or even two at a time. Literally it took longer to get our beers than our food. That being said, the food was really good.

After that, we did a little driving around and then headed home for some cards and chilling. The boys took the paddleboards out and had a good time. Jim and Doug went for a quick beer at the beer garden and then dinner was a nacho bar. Lots of games after that before turning in around 10.

This morning started at 5:45 (the boys and birds were able to give us an extra 15 minutes this morning) with coffee and then I went and worked out. We just returned from breakfast at Frostys and in a bit, I believe we'll head to the pool. It's a beautiful day and for me, I'm fine with just chilling there. Who knows what everyone else is up for but I we don't always need to go everywhere together. If they're into getting lunch out somewhere, have at it.

I don't know what's on tap for dinner. We talked about going out but who knows where. I also don't know about the plans for them leaving. I'm guessing they'll hit the road before noon. The weather tomorrow isn't supposed to be great and the winds are supposed to kick up tonight.

Maggie arrives with Eva in tow tomorrow, I'm guessing around 10 and I don't know if Eva is bringing a friend. I'm good either way.

The dogs are having a lovely time. Oh, here's a funny: So when everyone arrived yesterday I gave Cohen and his friend Liam a warning about Boo. I just said give him room; don't wake him from a sleep, and just know that he's can be a bit of an asshole...so beware. Well, of course you know that Boo is obsessed with Liam. He follows him around. When we got home from breakfast (Liam and Cohen didn't go), Liam said when he woke up and opened the bedroom door, there was Boo, just waiting for him. So cute.

Oh, here's something else that's funny: Liam's sister who is 20, just started an 8 week assignment at the Ohio State Fish Hatchery. She was on the same ferry as they were. Isn't that funny?

Okay well, I should probably rally the troops and see if they're up for the pool. I am...if they aren't, well, suck it. I'm on vacation. Later! Happy Tuesday. Can't wait for Maggie and Eva!!!
