Gonna Be A Good Day!

Hopefully I didn't just jinx things with the title of this post. Why do I believe it's going to be a good day? Well, because Jim's not working and we're going to make it a day of fun. His last day on 2nd shift was last night and with all the late shifts he's been working, he told his boss he wasn't going in today. I mean, how bad would that have sucked? To work late and then have to get up and head in early? He said, "Naw!" We're going to do stuff around here and then go to lunch. Best of all, however, I finally get to make dinner. Jim requested tuna noodle casserole and I aim to please. It's a "skinny" recipe, delicious and packed full of veggies. 

Wordle was amazing today. That's all I'll say. 

Last night before heading up to bed, I hauled in the bird feeder to ensure the raccoon stayed away. When I woke up and looked out the window, there was a huge deer at the tree where said feeder normally is. She was just feeding off the seeds on the ground but I still don't want her getting so close to the house. That will make her feel comfortable and she'll start feeding on the hostas. She's already decimated the ones by the mailbox. This animal life is really getting out of hand. 

Weekend plans: Other than dinner out tomorrow with the Nunns, I've got no real plans. I'll be getting things ready for my PIB trip on Monday. Oh, and our anniversary (23rd) is Sunday. We'll go out to dinner Sunday night to Eddie Merlots. We haven't been in a while and that's what Jimmy wants. 

Oh, it's National Yoga Day. I'll get an "award" on my fitness app with my watch if I do at least 10 minutes. I was going to anyway.
