Nervous

I'm not nervous about Jim coming home. I'm nervous after having read his chart this morning that he won't get to come home today. This is all Kyle's fault (Jim's night nurse). Apparently he saw overnight that Jim had a rhythm change so he ordered an EKG. Before they were able to obtain, however, Jim's rhythm went back to normal. Maybe Jim was right (I know, seems impossible) and Kyle really is a dope. The really sucky thing is that Dr. Locher is off today and so the decision to release Jim is going to be up to someone other than his doctor. How DARE he take 3-day weekend! (JK) Jim was assured that the doctor who will see him is well aware of Jim's history and how his hospital stay has gone. Plus, his other doctor involved in his a fib (Dr. Hays) is probably the one who will really decide on his release. We'll see. Fingers crossed. 

BTW - Jim straightened up and was flying right by the time I got to the hospital yesterday. I was worried he was going to be a real pill but he'd eaten and then showered when I got there and he was fine. He also snoozed a bit while I was there and that helped. When he called me later before bed, he said he was tired and felt like he would sleep. Hopefully Kyle didn't fuck that up. We'll see when I talk to him. After I finish here I'll text him and see how it went overnight. 

I decided yesterday that I deserved a little treat. So, after I fed the boys, around 5:00 I went to Shooters. I played my game, had a couple beers then got take-out and brought it home for dinner. It was nice to get out but I was preoccupied. Plus, Megatouch is HARD without two people when you're playing Word Safari (word search) and Photo Hunt. I guess Jim's good for something. 

So it's Friday which means I'll only walk the boys and do my elliptical today. The sun won't come up for an hour or so though so. 

OH!!! I had heard that Snoop Dogg was going to quit smoking (pot) but I just saw the commercial which started that "rumor". He's advertising those smokeless fire pit thingys. Funny! I knew it couldn't be true but I thought Well, maybe he's going to just take gummies instead. Now I know. Haha!

I'm not sure if I'll post over the weekend. If Jim comes home, I won't. So fingers crossed you don't read anything until Monday. 

My plans for the weekend: Nothing except ensuring Jim's all good (assuming he comes home). We'll order pizza tonight (if he comes home) and tomorrow I'll make him Beef Stroganoff.
