...three to go. Late nights, that is, at work. Last night was fine. I got hardly anything done, however, because my meetings were so spread out. 3:45, 3:55-4:40; by the time I finished my dinner at that point, my 5:40 showed up. Then I had a 5:53 appointment and a 6:06 appointment and then it was time to go. All the meetings went well...I have happy parents.
Today should be pretty easy. Test in US history, reading to my LA kids (we're about half way through our Agatha Christie book) and in science we're going to slow down and make a word wall...cause these kids just don't understand Carbon-based Molecules. Not sure their teacher does either. Just kidding!
My plans for the weekend are pretty exciting: A whole lot of hanging at home and loving on my pups. I've been away these last two weekends so I'm excited to have no commitments. Our neighbors are headed to Louisville tonight and we'll take care of their Great Dane, bearded dragon, fish and cat but that's no big deal. Jim and I do have plans - finally - to go to the Party Source to replenish our kegs and then eat lunch at Yard House but that's fun stuff!
The tree is mostly down in back. They got all the branches off and most of the brush has been hauled away. My neighbor kept me informed on the goings-on yesterday via text so I didn't have to worry so much. Phew! Tree guys will return today to drop the trunk which should come down easily and without incident (knock on wood). It's amazing to look out there and not see that tree. It was such a behemoth and took up so much sky space...it's like we put a sky light in! Oh, I guess we do have that chore to do this weekend now: stack the pieces to season for splitting next year.
And that's about all I've got. It's Friday and considering I had a late night last night - the week really did fly by. Happy weekend people! Later!
