In other news, I've been APPROVED!!! In other words, my passport is on its way! It was a pain in the ass to get this damn thing but I can only blame myself (for not knowing better) and the damn post office dude who didn't send in the correct paperwork. In the end, it took just about 6 weeks, which is the allotted time they give for normal processing and that's even with an eff up in my paperwork.
In scary news: The tree guys are taking the giant tree down in the backyard today. I'm so nervous! I'm so worried they're going to hit the house or the fence. The good thing about this is that I won't be home when it's going on and so won't have to watch on tender hooks! Being at work will allow me to be preoccupied and not think about what's going on but I'll still worry. Mostly about the dogs. I know they'll be wrecks while in their cages and hearing everything happening but what else can I do? Fingers crossed it all goes as planned and nothing bad happens.
In sad news: Elijah Cummings died. Ugh! He was only 68! I know he was ill lately and had heart issues but it just makes me sad.
Today is my LONG day at school. I'll be there for 12 hours and though I will be able to get work done that needs doing, I have 5 parents to meet with which doesn't make me happy. I mean seriously?! You need to meet with me when we email back and forth about 3 times a week already? Why must they waste my time? Add to all that - I'll be extra tired today because I got up at 4:00 to exercise but it's worth it! Now I won't feel guilty when I'm sitting for so long tonight at my computer and I can forgive myself for the 2 glasses of wine I had last night.
