Anyway - the most common side effects that Jim has to watch for are: Itching/rash, diarrhea, abdominal pain, headache (debilitating), excessive fatigue. She said Jim has a 40% chance of having a bad reaction or developing any of these but they treat, get things under control and continue with the meds. Jim came home last night (late...7:00) nearly dancing a jig. He was just feeling so positive about his new doc, the CNP, being back on treatment etc. I hope it all stays positive but even if things go south (in terms of side effects) I have total confidence in our caregivers. I can't tell you what a load off our minds this is.
And the kooks are walking in the door so I need to get a move on. Desi just came in with his typical, "Uh, Hi! Hi!" He left a math packet on my desk yesterday so when he came in just now I held it up and said, "Hey - what's this?" (Because he knows he's not supposed to leave things just lying around, which he does all the time like this is his bedroom or something). He said, "Oh, sorry! Sorry!" And I raised my arm and shook my fist at him and said, "Knuckle sandwich Desi...knuckle sandwich!" He smiled and then started punching himself in the face! UGH! Definite kook.
Okay - time to get a move on and get all the crap from yesterday graded. Happy Thursday! YAY...tomorrow's Friday and next week is a two-day week! HOT DOG! K - later!
