I may have to quit my job and become a professional bowler! I mean, I was on FIRE last night...for one game. I've never broken 100 before (except on the Wii) but last night I managed to get either a strike or spare on all but two frames! It was impressive! And I think (and Doug and Jim back me up) I would have gotten a better score on the 10th frame but my ball got stuck and I used a different ball for my 2nd to last ball! Robbed!
We had a ton of fun last night. The bowling alley near our home has "All you can bowl and all you can eat pizza" on Tuesdays for two hours. It was really the perfect amount of time because my hip started to fail me. If we had played another game (we played two) I may not be able to walk. As it is, I'm in a bit of pain so I'll be guzzling ibuprofen (and mimosas) this morning while I clean.
So today's plans: I'll be going to the grocery and cleaning this morning in preparation for Maggie, Charlie, Eva and Buster's arrival. They should be here by 2:00, latest. This evening we'll be headed to Silver Spring House for dinner with much of the family. This has really become the tradition and I can't wait. Tomorrow morning I'll make a big breakfast and then the Egberts will head to Raeburn...we'll be right behind them...and I CAN'T WAIT FOR TURKEY!
And then Friday!!! PUPPIES! Very excited for them to get here! I sure hope they like it here and adjust well and like me!
Okay - time to get a move on...Jim just left but should be home by noon. K - happy Wednesday!
