Gifts!

Boo

Anne sent me this photo last night of Boo and I thought I'd post so you all could get a nice close-up of this sweet boy. I'm very excited and even more so since some of the things I ordered for them came in the mail yesterday. Specifically, on of their cute plaid reversible jackets (red) came. I didn't even think when ordering that I got a red coat and a green one...perfect for Christmas! Can't wait to get their little bodies in their coats so they can stay warm. I sure hope they like them.

In other news, I have the best neighbors. Last evening, I got a text from Lauren asking if I was home. I figured she wanted to come over and get a package she had delivered to my house (with Christmas, the neighbors often do this to keep their kids from seeing things). She said that no, Doug (her husband) was on his way home and she thought we could have a beer. Well sure, I'm always up for a cocktail! But I did think it a bit odd...for a Monday...especially since we're all going out tonight. Anyway they came over and we were sitting in the family room chit chatting in front of the fire and Lauren said, "Isn't your birthday coming up?" And I answered, "Yes! The 28th!" And she said, "Well, we got you an early present." And she pulled out a little jewelry box and inside was the sweetest, prettiest necklace and as I looked closer it had the last picture of my girl Sami staring out at me. Of course I started crying (as I'm doing now dammit) and Jim cried and it's just the best gift ever! I told them it was the best gift I'd ever gotten...even compared to meeting and marrying Jimmy (kidding...sort of). I mean, how thoughtful is that?! All night long I wore it and just kept kissing my sweet girls face! Man I miss her!

K - gotta stop crying now.

Okay I've got it together. So tonight, like I stated, my neighbors and Jim and I are going out...we're going bowling up the road. Tuesdays they have a special with a pizza buffet so we thought, hey that'd be fun. We'll get two lanes one for the adults and one for the kids. Can't wait.

And then it will be a cleaning extravaganza getting ready for Maggie, Eva and Charlie's arrival Wednesday! Can't wait! Especially since we'll have BUSSIE IN THE HOUUUUUSSSSE!!! He's never been here! Can't wait!

K - time to get a move on. Should be an easy day though the kids will probably be nuts with the long weekend coming. Maybe a bunch won't show! We can only hope! Happy Tuesday...my computer is getting a new hard drive today so hopefully after that the computer saga will be over. If not, I'm chucking it out the window! K - later!
