I got a text from Jim yesterday morning saying, "I just started my $1400 a day habit!" Hee hee. This means that he had taken his first pill in treating that dick melanoma! Woot! So far so good. No issues but then I didn't expect any kind of side effects this early. We'll see how he does over the next couple of weeks. And we all know how much of a drama queen Jim can be but I told him that he needed to be aware of how he's feeling and if anything seems unusual. BUT DON'T CRY WOLF! You know, like he likes to do.
Speaking of Jim: He got a really nice card yesterday from my Aunt Muir...just to say she's thinking of him and praying for him...so sweet. I was doing my simply fit board and when I asked him what it said but he didn't answer me. So I turned around and he was crying. Made me cry. He was just touched and grateful for the family we have that support. It's just nice to know and sometimes it just chokes you up. (BTW - I just cried a little again! Dammit Aunt Muir!!!)
I'm enjoying my Simply Fit Board. I've been doing it very day this week and I'm certainly feeling it. I've combined it with different things, mainly arm work, and hoping for some results. We'll see. I'm going to give it a month to see if things really are different. (That's my workout team to the left, by the way.)
Wouldn't it be great if my insurance covered liposuction? Considering Jim and I have already met our deductible, I'd be signing up for that right now...if only it was covered. Maybe I can get a doctor to write an order for it because of health issues. Like the spare tire around my waste is causing serious mental issues for me. That would work, right?
Can I tell you how much I dislike P. trump? It's so difficult to look at him but at this point I'm a bit entertained by his obsession with himself and his obsession with his own popularity, or lack of popularity. Although listening to him, you'd think there's never been a more popular person in the U.S. Hilarious too, all the stories coming out about his inner circle leaking information of his instability and immaturity in the White House. How long can this really last? Four years, at least, I'm afraid. UGH!
Okay - time to get a move on. I'll probably be a little later in my post tomorrow because I don't have to be at school until a little later than usual...professional meeting in the morning. Oh, and I have an IEP today. Almost forgot that. Whoops. I've been so lackadaisical lately in terms of my...uh...job.
Oh, and Dezi was back yesterday. He was pretty funny and cute coming in all happy to see us all. He enjoyed the attention from the other students too when he was showing his Iranian money and telling a couple of stories. Hopefully that will last for a while!
K - happy Thursday. Later!
