Rain & Kooks!

Man oh man did it rain yesterday! And of course I didn't take my umbrella into school. Oh well. Can't complain about the rain because we needed it badly but I can complain about my own stupidity. Actually I'll blame the weather people because they said the rain yesterday wouldn't be really widespread until around 4:00.

I started the movie version of Romeo and Juliet yesterday (I think I've mentioned that). And before I hit play, I warned the kids that at some point they would see an ass shot of Romeo and there was a flash of Juliet boob. I warned them because of Dezi and how freaking immature and stupid he is. When I announced it, he acted exactly like I knew he would. Mouth wide open, laughing and saying, "WAIT WHAT!? WAIT - UH...WHAT - UH!?" Such a freak. I then told him that if he reacted like he just had when it occurs in the movie, I would kick him out of the room so fast his head would spin! ARG!

Oh, here's a funny - I don't know if I mentioned this in my post yesterday about Dezi. This week the high school is doing an LGBT awareness thing. Kids are wearing tie dyes and there are stickers they can wear as well. So Dezi comes in yesterday and he has a sticker on and he shows it to me, "UH, Mrs. Hanke uh, look...look...did uh you uh see this uh?!" And I say, "Yes, that's great!" And he says, "I love the gays!" He drives me crazy but he cracks me up sometimes too.

And that's all I've got for today. Jim's already out...he had to be in Hyde Park at 6:00. He won't get a day off tomorrow but that just means he'll get overtime. I doubt he'll have to work Saturday though so that's good.

Ooh...Who dey! Tonight the Bengals play. And I forgot to put on Bengals wear! Hmmm....maybe I'll change really quick.
