End of year stuff wears me OUT! I kept waking up last night and the first thought that would fly through my mind was, It's not Friday yet...wahhhhhh!!! I'm just so worn out. With having a late night at school Tuesday and then being there until nearly 5:00 last night, no chance to exercise and no quality Sami time, I'm done! Tonight, however, I'll get out of school at normal time, I'll cook a lovely meal and go to bed early. Can't wait!
My eye is giving me fits. I scratched it yesterday and it gooped all night long. I put a new contact in this morning but I can feel it trying to be all red and what not. I'll take my contact case and glasses into school with me just in case today.
Have I mentioned that I'm DONE teaching for the year? I'm completely spent and the kids are crazy. I can't tell you the last year that I felt this stir-crazy or that the kids have seemed this stir-crazy. Although I bet if I look back at my blog to this time last year, I'd read a similar post.
It's COLD here today! Temps today are only supposed to get to about 60 today...brrr. Not complaining though. Really this cool weather is nice. I don't think I've turned my air on since early April so YAY!
Plans today at school: Keep packing shit up. I've got most of my LA and history stuff packed up and just need to get my desk cleaned out and my filing cabinet purged. Diane did a great job yesterday with the built-in cabinet and the microwave cart. We've thrown a TON of shit away and I'm hoping more goes in the trash. It will be nice to have much of this stuff (useless and unused) out of our already crowded room. My favorite saying: Less is more.
Okay well - I guess I should get a move on. This time next week will be my last day with kids. This time in two weeks I'll be sleeping! YAY!!! K - I'm out. Happy Thursday...I think I can, I think I can, I think I can!
