I'm trying to have a good attitude about everything that's going on right now...well, with the one thing that's going on right now...Jim being out of work. It's hard though because every now and then I go to panic mode. He hasn't yet heard from the guy where he interviewed...well actually, he did hear from him. Specifically, Earle, the guy he interviewed with was still waiting for the "powers that be" to give a day/time to set up a second interview. He told Jim that if Jim didn't hear from him today, then Jim should call on Friday. Which means, I need all to continue having their fingers crossed. Sorry, I know that's uncomfortable but...for me?
In school news, we had our holiday luncheon yesterday during early release time. They had Olive Garden catered which was yummy. I hadn't eaten anything during our regularly scheduled lunch and was STARVING so I chowed. That's okay though...I hula-hooped when I got home. And walked all over creation after school to shop. (Almost done there).
Our holiday gift from the administration is very nice. We all got a Kings pullover - black - and best of all it has thumb holes. Love that! We're all to wear them today. Got mine on now and it's comfy cozy.
Oh, and I guess by now you've all realized that I didn't win the lottery. Bummer. We did, however, win $3! Close but no cigar.
So a friend of mine on Facebook who I went to grade school with (at Bethany - Mom I'm talking about Evelyn Keys) just announced that she's pregnant with twins. Again, I went to grade school with her so she's my age. I'm not sure I'd have the energy to do twins at this point in my life. And she's already got a 2 or 3 year old. Yowza! Awesome for her...I'm sure her kids give her/will give her the energy she needs.
Oh, and though she doesn't read this - a big THANK YOU to Diane for the dog biscuit makings. I whipped them up last night and my babies are already addicted! I have them in the little jar you gave with and Sami stands up with her hands on the counter where they are, hoping and praying.
Okay well, today I'm giving my LA exam to 4th period (3rd period took it yesterday...only 2 out of 6 passed it. And not because it was hard...those little effers didn't study...seriously, I made it as easy as possible!) Other than that nothing. Lisa is making chili and cookies with her Transition class so it should be a fun-filled day.
K - I'm out. Later! 2 more days! Woot Woot!
