Down For The Count

I couldn't post until now because I was very busy with a busy girl.  Eva is currently snoozing away and I'm hoping that Sami will refrain from barking so that she can stay that way. I closed the curtains in my bedroom because it's too tempting for Sami to bark at any living thing running around outside. She is a devil.

So yesterday, Maggie and Eva got here around 10:30. We let Eva run around for a bit (she was sick of being in the car) before we loaded into Maggie's car and headed to lunch.  We went to the Polo Grille in Deerfield and then to see Lynne so she could see Eva. We then headed home. Unfortunately, Eva fell asleep on the way and when Maggie took her out, she woke up and wouldn't go back down.  Normally a non-napped girl makes for a crabby girl but she was actually very good. We had dinner (sour cream pork chops were YUMMY) and then after a bath, some tea parties and coloring of Sleeping Beauty (I was not allowed any markers except for flesh colored...blue, purple and pink were apparently off limits to me) Eva hit the sack. Maggie and I soon followed. 

Today, we got up, had breakfast, got ready, Maggie left for lunch around 11:30 and Eva and I walked Bubba.  She LOVES her some Bubba.  She also wants to love Sami but Sami is a bit too  persnickety. There were a few times when she just wanted to run after Sami and have fun but Sami doesn't get it and it makes her a bit nervous.  She did growl at Eva a couple times.  She never snapped at her or anything but it makes me nervous so I make sure Eva stays away.  It's tough for her though because she's used to her Buster (and how Max used to be) and just laying on top of him and doing whatever without any payback. 

So here's a little video of Eva dancing. The View had the cast of Nashville on yesterday and she really enjoyed the music.  That girl sure can shake her biscuits! 

Well, I'm going to close here.  Tonight we'll get LaRoas's...I'll make a salad and hmm...maybe Maggie and I will drink a glass or four of wine.  Can't wait!  K - later!
