It will definitely take some getting used to here in the Hanke household without Zekey Zoo but, understanding that - I'm doing alright. It was nice to be home yesterday and just do my thing...not worry about trying not to cry. I cleaned the house and washed every blanket and towel. Walked the dogs and hugged on them. I feel like Bubba seems a bit sad but it's hard to tell what with his Basset genes. We actually got Zeke's ashes back yesterday (Jim picked them up) and he is now perched and looking out for us. I'm not sure what I will do with the ashes. I might take them up to PIB and spread them there...he loved it up there.
In other news - Jim's sick. He says he's been throwing up and "other stuff" since about 3:00 AM. We ate the same things yesterday so I'm not sure what's going on. Hopefully this will pass quickly.
