Zeke's really coming along. It's kind of amazing if you think about it. He's still all "stumbleydore" but since everything happened when he couldn't walk, couldn't even stand, peed all over himself, he's now able to walk, pee outside, he's eaten some, he's wagging his tail when he sees us and is sleeping well. Every couple hours, he'll bark and I'll take him out back. I pooper scoop (could take me days to get it all) while he stumbles around trying to master walking again. Last outing we were out for about a half hour and he only fell once. I stayed out until he walked back to the steps of the deck, wanting to go in. I think he's happy just to be able to sit outside in the grass for a while. I think by tomorrow he may be okay enough to be left for a little while by himself. We're thinking about going to Shooters for a bit. We'll keep him in the family room - fence him in there so he doesn't try and go up the stairs. I think if things continue the way they've been, he'll be okay by then. And for sure by Tuesday when we both head back to work.
In other news, check out a sweet girl who fell asleep while reading! Love this! I can just picture her reading and falling over in exhaustion! Mmm! I miss my girl!
So plans this weekend: I'm staying with Zeke today while Jim works. He should be home around 3 or so. We'll have lasagna toss for dinner with a salad and garlic bread. I've done a bit of quilting today...grocery shopped. That's about all.
