Can I Get An "AMEN"!!!

And a "Hallelujah"!  Maggie called yesterday (I think it was call #4 from her) and said, "Do you want me to f*%k with you or tell you the truth?"  Obviously I wanted the truth.   She had talked to Charlie and he had found out that they WILL NOT be moving to California!  [Exhale and breathe]  It was a load off my heart, that's for sure.  For Charlie, I'm sure that it was a bit of a disappointment but Maggie said that really, it sounded as though he were relieved.  Can't tell you how relieved I am.  Until the next huge project that may come along...but like I dealt with it this time, I will deal with it then.

In dinner news:  My General Tao's Chicken was really good.  I love my new wok too.  It stir fried like a dream (although I burnt my red chilis the first time I fried them...wok too hot!)

In school news:  P/T conferences today...yuck.  I have one parent as of yesterday, at 4:30, I think.  No biggie...not even sure why she wants to meet with me.

In Kim news:  Turns out Kim has a broken wrist.  She fell the other day while walking her pups and caught herself with her hand.  Yesterday by the end of the day - it was swollen so she went to Urgent Care to get an x-ray and lo and behold...broken.  If that had been me (being the idiot that I am - I NEVER go to the doctor) I would have walked around with a broken wrist forever.  Well - I can't wait to sign your cast!

In health news:  I have a cold.  Hmm...wonder whose fault that is (MAGGIE!!!)  So mad!  I've been "sick" 3 times this winter and I've never truly shaken the cough I have.  Oh well. I don't feel bad, really...just a cough.  We'll see how it progresses.

In weather news:  It's raining like crazy!  I mean downpour!  I'll be taking the back roads to school, I believe.  Must say though, it's a perfect day for P/T conferences.

Okay - well, I best head out.  Later!

Your gain-my loss. When Maggie emailed me and I replied I said you are probably jumping up and down and that I was just glad to meet Eva before she goes off to college! Kathleen
