I Could Use Another Week!

Its been over a week since I've been to school and I'm sorry, I'm just not ready to go back.  I guess I should feel grateful that I only have 3 weeks before Winter Break but in that time, I need to A) finish reading The Help with my LA classes (which isn't going to happen) B) write 3 IEPs and hold two meetings C) finish my final PowerPoint for Government class D) teach it E) make up the exams for my LA and Gov't classes along with F) reviews for said exams.  Maybe I should think about doing a little work at home.  NAH!  F that! 

In weather news:  It's raining like crazy here and will continue for about the next 3 days.  UGH!  Wednesday?  The high is supposed to be about 37.  Can you say brrrrrr?  And holy shit!  Some crazy walking lady just walked by outside.  Doesn't she know that you can't walk in this rain?!  She's making me look like a lazy ass and she's just lucky that Sami didn't see her, 'cause I told Sami earlier that with this rain...she gets no walk. 

So last night Jim and I went to see Cullen in Avenue Q.  So good!  He's the lead - Princeton.  That boy sure can sing!  I had no idea!  If you don't know what Avenue Q is, well I can't help you.  I kid.  Basically, it's a raunchy rendition of Sesame Street.  Lots of references to porn, sex, young adults with no purpose.  You know, a play based on real life.  Cullen did an amazing job.  As did the other actors.  I can't wait to see what Cullen does in the future. 

Before dinner, we went to La Poste in Clifton gaslight.  I'd not been there before.  Can you say, "DEEEEELICOUS"???!!!  I had a filet on a bed of herb and asparagus risotto topped with lump crab meat and served with a red wine reduction.  It was unbelievable and if I had been at home, I would have picked my plate up and licked it.  Thanks Dad and Becky!!!

Okay so today is a day of rest and relaxation. I need to get rid of this cough but it is definitely getting better.  I slept pretty good last night and only woke up coughing a couple times.  Hopefully by tonight - I'll be ready to sleep through the night and be ready for my Monday tomorrow.  I need to get at least my first lesson in my final chapter for government complete.  UGH!  Guess I will be working at home today.  Stink!  Okay well, better get moving.  I also have 4 books to review on my book blog.  Man am I a slacker.  K - later!
