Penile Implants

Yup, I've finally reached an all-time low in dreams...penile implants. And before you ask, Maggie, Jim was NOT involved. I know I dreamt this because they had it on Grey's. And of course, I was a doctor in my dream prepping a guy getting one for surgery. Meaning: I had to shave him! Yuck! Thank God I woke up before I actually had to perform that task. Maybe I need to stop watching so much TV. Nah!

So my corn/crab bisque was really good last night. Jim chowed. For my dinner party, it's just going to be the "soup" course so I'm only serving people cups of it. Does soup come before an appetizer? Can't remember. I also made jalapeno cornbread and it was really good too but it was a tad too dry and crumbly. Maggie, you used to make a really easy and good cornbread - in your cast iron skillet - send me that recipe if you still have it - I can always just add jalapenos to it. So now I have my menu except I have to cement my decision for dessert. I think if I make anything, I need to do something I can make ahead of time. Otherwise I'll be in the kitchen all night and not get to mingle with the guests.

Today - I think I will be sitting in front of a fire, reading and awaiting the Bengals game. It's going to be a tough one but my faith is still intact. Hopefully after the defensive coaches tragedy this week, the team will rally around him and give him a win! I still can't believe he's actually going to call the game. At least he'll have his family in Baltimore with him.

Dinner tonight is a bit o' veggie soup. I'm using the recipe that's on this blog but I think I'll do it in the slow cooker and add noodles at the end. Yum!!!

K - I'm going to go sit in front of the fire that my hubby just built and snuggle with my pups before making breakfast...later!
