Sucks not having a computer!
So, the short story: The computer went kaput last week - I think Thursday. I took it into the computer guru at school who said he'd take a look. Turns out a virus infiltrated my sweet computer baby (Jim and his damn porn!!! Ha!) and so, in order to repair it, XP had to be reinstalled which wiped everything out. The computer guru was able to save all my music and my recipes and a file Jim wanted to keep (with all his invoices on). As a safety measure, I went out yesterday and bought a portable hard drive. It holds up to 320 GB and cost $80 but it is an easy back up and I will ensure from now on that all my major, needed files are on it. The biggest, suckiest part of the whole thing is that all my pictures are gone. However, I still have all my photos on my camera and I can always scan the ones that are loose.
In other news...I got nothing. I missed giving a shout out for Trip's birthday so I'll say now - HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY TRIP!!!
Also, a HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY to DIANE!!!
For now, that's all. I'm going to go hug on my babies, pour a glass of wine and wait for my lovey to come home and tell me where he wants to eat dinner. Later!!!
