That's a day I can get on board with!!!So, can I just say that hibachi is the f&%king whip!!!??? DEEEEELIOUS!!! Last night Jim and I went to the Iron Chef. We sat with a family who was celebrating the father's (step-father to some as it was a "blended" family) 48th b-day. It completely sucks when you sit with a group that tries to talk to you too much but they were really nice and pretty much left us alone...until we started talking baseball and football. It was okay though since it was the end of the evening and the guy was a Red Sox fan! AND a Bengal's fan who hates the Steelers! Anyway, I had the steak and chicken combo (no sushi this time) and I ate every bite!!! It was so yummy!!!
After dinner Jim wanted to go to Target to get razors and cat supplies. I, of course, ended up getting a couple sweaters. They still had the sweatshirty, cowly, kinda neck thingys with the toggles? AND they were only $16!!! Reduced from $19! I wanted to get a bunch of colors but the only one they still had in stock in my size was a hot pink...so I got that and a light pink cable knit pretty little sweater. We also got a new ice cream scoop and had to try that out when we got home. Works like a charm! Jim wanted to buy the $9 ice cream scoop but I said since I'm paying, it's gonna have to be the $4! Does Jim think we're made of money and can just buy solid gold ice cream scoops!? Come on, Yimmy!!!
So today, I have some errand running to do and some house cleaning and grocery shopping. I'm going to try out the corn/crab bisque tonight for dinner with some jalapeno corn muffins and a light salad. Cross your fingers. Other than that, I got nothing. Oh, read my book and I'm hoping we'll have a bit of a dry out here and I want to have a fire in the FP tonight! It's supposed to get down into the 30s!!! I may have to actually turn on the heat!!! (I'm rubbing my hands together and giggling right now!!! I love this weather!!!)
