Ruckus!

So I'm sitting here, at 5:31 AM perusing the Internet. Windows are open (they open out to the backyard deck). Sami is outside doing her thing and I suddenly hear a loud ruckus in the woods beyond our fence. Loud, like a bear is traipsing through to topple the fence and try to eat my sweet baby. Actually, it was probably a deer but still, a little creepy to hear at this time in the morning when it's pitch black outside. AND...my screech owl isn't screaming it's morning "hello" to me. Unusual. Hope it's not a bad omen.

Well, I apologize for not posting as regularly lately. Yesterday I just didn't have the gumption after getting ready for work. There's been lots to talk about too but alas, I knew it would be a long post and a can of worms I was hoping wouldn't have to opened.

In school news (of course): FW and HH are causing quite a stir. As I may have mentioned before, FW has three (3!!!) free periods. Now, because she is department head, she gets two but three!!?? Come on!? What kind of cockamamey bullshit is that? Anyway, I had a feeling the shit was about to hit the fan when they FINALLY sent the master schedule out - two weeks after school had started. Hmm...wonder why they waited so long? Maybe it took that long to come up with a lie as to why FW was working a part-time schedule but being paid full-time.

So, I get stopped on my way into school on Tuesday by a teacher who had seen this load of bullshit (along with her lunch buddies) and they had talked about it and couldn't figure out what was up so she asked me. Understand too that this is an HH lover. She wondered if FW had gone part time. My response was, "Hmm...I don't know why FW has three free periods. I wondered that myself. And no, she's full-time." And I walked away.

Then, that same day, in the afternoon, the department heads had a meeting with HH. Apparently the math DH asked HH what the f$&k was up with FW's schedule. Well, this pissed HH off; FW apparently turned every shade of red, and then pretends that she so glad the subject came up. Her answer was something along these lines (The DH who told me this said she wasn't sure of FW's exact answer because every time FW starts talking she tunes her out since everything out of FW's mouth is a load of shit! Ha!!!): "HH was kind enough to give me an extra free period to develop/streamline the data base of special ed students." Hmm. That's interesting. I've never heard of anything having to do with that. I wonder if the Special Ed Coordinator for my school is aware of this. Doubt it. And, hmm...doesn't that sound like something dealing with the department and should really be dealt with during that second free period you have for "Department Head Duties"?

Regardless of all the bullshit, I'm staying out of it. I'll listen to anything anyone wants to tell me and complain to the liaison committee (anonymously) about favoritism but I'm not saying anything to HH directly or FW. I'm not going to give them the satisfaction of telling me to mind my own business. The whole staff is talking about this bag of bullshit so I'm sure that it will soon come to a head. Why is it that so many of these people at work are only JUST NOW seeing how full of shit this guy is?

Okay - I'm going to head to work now. I have some paperwork I haven't been able to get finished and need to buckle down. Later.
