Picture Day!!!

I will not be looking my best for picture day. Certainly not nearly as beautiful as the picture shown here. I'll smile big for sure but I just don't have the gumption to do my hair. It's too humid and I can't sit in my bathroom trying to dry it. So, I'll hopefully had a lovely photo to share soon. Nothing to rival this though.

So Jim and I went to see the Time Traveler's Wife. I loved it. It was very true to the book. I normally am not a huge fan of Eric Bana but he did a really good job and didn't whisper like he does when he plays batman. Hate that. Rachel McAdams was really good to. I would certainly recommend it and hopefully it'll be out for DVD release for X-mas and Jim can get it for me. Although, that's right, we're supposed to just be getting each other new carpet but it's just a little DVD. That's really a stocking stuffer.

Anyway, we went to Red Robin for lunch before the movie and as we were sitting there Jim says, "I've had a great time this weekend." I looked at him and said, "Why?" (Not that I hadn't I just didn't know specifically what he was referring to.) He said, "Cause we got to go out to dinner together and then spend today together and we got to see your family - Maggie and Charlie - and it was just nice." That was sweet.

Okay, well, it's back to the grind. Jim's off work today and will hopefully be chopping wood all day. There's a guy up the street that lives on 3 acres and has been taking trees down (so far he's had 80 taken down). Jim's gathered, I think 6 truck loads so far - all free! Most is currently stacked in our side yard (2 loads went to Jim the neighbor) and he needs to start chopping it so that it will season quicker. We should be set for wood to burn this winter and from what I hear, it's going to be a doozie! I can't wait!!!

K - I'm out. I got a message Friday at about 6PM from my annoying freak of a parent and haven't listened to it yet. That should be fun. Ugh! Dread! What a way to start the week. But...at least it's a short one. Later.
