Dad called today to say that Aunt Elizabeth (actually my father's aunt) passed away yesterday (or Thursday night). It makes me sad too because she's apparently been here in Cincy for the past four months and had I (or anyone else for that matter) known, I would have gone to see her. My dad says that the nursing home where she was is located right across the street from the arts center where he took Cullen every week for guitar lessons. Sucks. She was a really neat woman. Always known for her stylin' ways and very kind to us "kids". She had a long life and I hope that she didn't suffer at the end.
I don't know any info yet except that she's already been taken back to St. Clairsville where the visitation will be on Wednesday and the funeral on Thursday. I wish I could go and I wish I had a picture to post.
Anyway, rest in peace Aunt Elizabeth - you will be missed.

I am very sad-she always believed in me and gave me alot of self confindence-she said I was the daughter she never had-she always looked so great and those blue eyes were spectacular. I promised that no matter what I would come to her funeral so I am thinking that I may fly into Cincy and ride with your Dad and then come back and leave for S>F> on Sunday- I don't even own a warm coat!! She was 96 and had a good life. RIP Aunt Elizabeth-and I will see you soon Muir! Kathleen
Wow! I didn't know she was 96!!! What a great life!
I'm sorry about your Aunt. It's too bad you guys didn't know she was so close. She sounds like she was a neat person
