After a nice day off yesterday, I'm headed back to work. I'm getting spoiled with all these days off. I mean, last week, I had 4 days off. This week: 1. Next week should be a full week but then I'll have the 16th off for President's Day. After that, it'll be a long stretch until Spring Break. I still have 2 personal days and will surely be taking at least one during that time. But, in the meantime, it's back to the daily grind.
In good news, Jim got his car back last night! I'm so happy. Just keep your fingers crossed that nothing else happens to put a dent in our daily, ordinary lives! If I were a betting person, I would say a shoe, somewhere soon is likely to drop. Right on my head. Now, I know that isn't "positive" thinking but if you've met me and Jim, you'd know there's always something. Of course isn't that true of everyone? Especially lately?
So, Jim's birthday is Sunday. I haven't gotten him anything yet. I don't know what I'm going to get him. I have an idea for something but it isn't much. I did make reservations for the Grand Finale for Saturday (7:15 Jane!). It was Jimmy's pick. I haven't been there in about a year so YEAH!!! I can't wait! One of my favorites.
Okay - I better go finish getting ready. I went out last night to take Jim to his car and the roads weren't bad - just a few spots to watch out for. AND...in this 1 degree weather, there's no telling how many icy spots there may be. Later.
