So I'm just a tad groggy and foggy from last night. I didn't completely over do it but I did drink a fair amount. That's okay though - I still managed to walk home without skinning my knee, face or other body part. I had a great time and I know all the dogs had fun. There were a total of 7 there: Tollan, Saga and Nessa - all German Shepherds, Brutus - a bull mastiff, Emma - a mixed breed, Daisy - a golden and Dannon - a black lab with the boxiest head I've ever seen. I think Nessa is already planning her next party. I'm sure she slept like a rock last night. Anyway, thanks Jane for a great Halloween party - the food was awesome as was the company and conversation. Jim says "Ditto"!Jim and I have already cleaned the house and he's getting ready to go on a bike ride here in a bit. I will be laying my ass on the couch after I finish typing here and trying to clear the cobwebs out of my brain. It may just be a Harry Potter Weekend!!!
Tonight I'm making Chicken Bowtie Pasta - simple and light - and probably vegging on the couch. I'm kind of excited about that. Plus we gain an hour tonight so BONUS!!!
Okay - I better get over to the couch because Sami's giving me her "You better get your ass over here and cuddle with me" look and I wouldn't want to piss her off.
