So, here I am - I tried to sleep in a little but only managed to stay in bed until 7:00. Zeke joined me in bed for a bit but I could tell he wanted to head downstairs for a pee and carrot. He usually won't venture downstairs without me. So we got up, I put his coat on, let him out and turned on the TV for a little Sounds of the Season. It's the music channel on my cable. I really enjoy the fact that one minute I can hear Pearl Jam sing about a Christmas tree and the next I hear Nat King Cole sing about reindeer flying. It makes me happy!
So, I made my casserole yesterday - it's in the fridge waiting for the oven. It doesn't seem "eggy" enough but whatever, I followed the direction (though I did cut it in half). While laying in bed this morning, I decided I didn't have enough for breakfast so I'm going to do hash browns too. I've never made hash browns before so I hope they don't suck. When I finish this post, I'll make my cream cheese ham ball.
FYI - I'm now listening to Aaron Carter sing "Run Rudolph Run"...the downside to this station.
Last night was fun...Jane and I went to Bravo's for dinner and then her sister's for more cocktails. Interestingly, Jane's niece, went to Miami with Brittany Woods! They were in a sorority together. For those of you who don't know what I'm talking about - Brittany is the daughter of Jenny Woods, who happened to be who I student taught with at Kings! Small world, huh? Anyway, Jane and I got home around 10, she came over for a nightcap and by 11, I was in bed, trying to stay up and watch the Top Chef I missed. I managed to watch 1/2. I'll catch it later this weekend - I'm sure they'll replay it.
