The Wierdest Yet

Man! I just awoke from a crazy dream.

Ok - so I was at Lotspeich (the K-5 school of the 7 Hills organization) and there was a line of kids getting ready to load onto a bus for transfer to the Middle School (it was morning and the schools are on different campuses). So, I decide to get on one of the busses because as the kids ride to school, they have a Julius Caesar test to take. See, I figured, "Easy!" since I was an English major. So I pick up the clipboard at my seat and start to take the test and I know NONE of it. The first question was something like: list the 3 components of a tragic hero (now, this I actually do know but in my dream I was like, "HUH?" Oh, and the whole test was hand written in pencil and I was allowed a "cheat sheet" and didn't know it. Totally unfair.)

So we get to the Middle School (all the kids were wondering who the heck I am and they sit and wait to be released off) and I yell up the old man bus driver/English teacher, "I'm getting off!"

So I go up and ask the guy, "The Children's Home is thata way, right?" as I point.

He answers, "Yes."

I said, "Is it too far to walk?"

"Well, it would be a long walk." I shrug and step off the bus. It's pouring down rain so I start running (I have no shoes on by the way).

So I get to the intersection of Ludlow and Clifton and I see a bus stop and decide to see if I can get a ride there.

A bus pulls up right away and when the door opens I yell up to the driver, "Hey, do you go to Victory Parkway?"

She answers, "Yes, we drive all along that."

Great. So I get on the bus and sit right by the driver. I then say, "Do you know where The Children's Home is?"as I open the change part of my wallet.

"Yeah. We go right by that."

"Awesome", I say. Then, "How much?"

So the driver is thinking about it and she yells back to the other riders and she asks how much they think I should pay for "half a ride" and finally she says, "I guess you could pay what Superman pays."

I was like, "Oh, no! I should pay more than Superman." And this lady behind me says, "Pay for me cause I haven't paid yet." So I do. Two quarters.

So we're riding along and the street dead ends so we have to either go left or right on Victory Parkway and we go left but as we are, the bus driver points to a huge building just to the right and says, "Is that it?" and I answer "That's it!"

And, she keeps driving - past the first bus stop. So I think, Oh, I have to hit the buzzer. But, I figure since I'm right next to her, I'll just go "DING". So I do. And she doesn't stop.

"DING" I say a little louder. Nothing. She doesn't stop and we're getting farther away from work.

"DING". Nope.

"DING, DING, DING" and then I woke up cause the phone was ringing. Crazy

By the way, it was Maggie on the phone and she is currently in Chicago with Charlie, waiting to board a plane and she will be IN CINCINNATI IN 2 1/2 HOURS!!!

I also dreamt that when Maggie came to town, I saw her and hugged her and knocked her over. And we were both lying on the ground hugging. That was it.

K - spending all day at Raeburn with Maggie - who will be a barrel of laughs cause she's on 3 hours of sleep. Oh, well, we'll snooze by the pool together! YEAH!!!
