I’m sure that most Cincinnati Blogs recently (within the last day) are talking about the same thing: Marcus Fiesel. If you read my previous post, you read of the questions/comments I had regarding the case. Specifically I was suspicious of the two people who were supposed to be giving care to a child who had the unfortunate luck of being born to a drug addicted, incapable mother. Well, if you believe that the world is going down the shithole fast, then you already know that, of course, these two “foster parents” did in fact take the life of this poor child. If you believe in heaven, you know too, that Marcus is currently sitting on the lap of whoever is in charge, eating his favorite food/candy, warm, safe, and happy. (Normally, regarding god and heaven or hell, I say: “I believe in something, I just don’t know what it is.” In this case, I have to believe that Marcus is someplace good - heaven. Maybe corny but otherwise, I can’t wrap my brain around the unfairness of life when it comes to the innocent.)

I fear for this case currently because there are so many confusing parts to it and so many different counties involved. However, from what someone close to me says (who has an “in”) Clermont County is most likely going to take the case over since the crime occurred there. Joe Deters (Hamilton County District Attorney) just has to “give it up”. I hope that all parties involved remember the need here is for Marcus to have peace rather than county officials playing games for publicity.

I have a hard time understanding the charges against these murderers (involuntary manslaughter) but that, I am also told, will most likely change as evidence and witnesses are gathered. For those who aren’t from Cincinnati or are living in a ditch, Marcus Fiesel was left in a closet for about 3 days while his “caregivers” went out of town to a family reunion. Upon returning, Marcus had died. For those of you wondering what the definition of involuntary manslaughter is, here you go: This is where death occurs due to recklessness or criminal negligence with no intention to kill or cause serious injury. I can’t imagine anyone who has a brain thinks that locking a person in a closet, bound with tape would not cause them serious injury. So, I know that the involuntary manslaughter charge was simply a way of holding these two horrific criminals in jail.

Here’s what gets me: These two had backup plans. They had originally thought about “losing” Marcus at Kings Island but there are video cameras there. And, they went back about 2-3 times to re-incinerate the poor boy. Was this to make sure they had done the job of trashing this poor child’s body? Well to me, that points to the fact that they did something much more horrible to this boy than lock him in a closet where he died. I think they were trying to cover something up. Because seriously, 2 days in a closet and the boy dies? Right now, I’m thinking the worst about these people and so that leads me to believe that they did much worse.

We’ll probably never have all the information about the crime. And as for the people who want to know why: Sometimes people are just THAT evil!
