3 New Pairs of Shoes

I certainly do love shoes! I have run out of room in my closet. Two years ago when I counted, I had over 50 pair but have since bought new ones and got rid of some I didn't wear. Anyway, I have a fair amount and now, I have three new pair all for less than $35.00!!! I had mentioned previously that I had $50 in DSW reward dollars but found another $25 right before I walked out the door. Yeah!!! I tried to get shoes that I normally wouldn't buy - you know, pretty and not practical.

So I got a pair of Franco Sarto (similar to the ones shown but in a color called "acorn" with a buckle in the middle instead of the twisty thing shown.)

Then I got a pair of Aerosoles that look ugly off but are really cute when on the foot (black).

Finally, I got a pair of Anne Klein. (They are similar to the ones shown but in a sage green with a buckle on the side rather than the stuff on the one shown.)

So, I also went to K-Mart and I now remember why I hate that place. It is so, well, to put it mildly, Yucky! I didn't want to touch my cart even. It's so dirty there and nothing is where it should be. Pretty sure I saw a little kid shoplifting too. And, the only deals they still had were 12 folders for $1 and 2 packs of 150-count loose leaf for $1. So, I got that and headed out of that hell hole (I almost typed "hello hole).

So then I went to Hallmark which is in a Kroger parking lot. I saw that gas was 2.91 and with the $.15 off for August, I thought, hey that beats the $2.86 I saw at UDF earlier. Wouldn't you know it, in the 15 minutes I was in Hallmark, they raised the price to $3.15!!! EFF!!! Yeah, right, there isn't price gouging going on. Nooo!!! So, I drove to UDF and gave them my money instead of fricking fracking Kroger. I'm so pissed.

Ok, I just tried on all my shoes again and have gone back to my happy place.

So, now I'm off to do the last door of the book case (EFF - it's going to be so flippin hot.) If only I wouldn't ruin my new shoes, I'd wear them while I strip paint...just to keep me in my happy place. Oh well, I'll line them up in front of the glass door so I can gaze at them every now and then. (I am kidding here just in case some stranger is reading this thinking I'm some freaky shoe fanatic.)

Later.
