I was hoping that with the cold as shit weather we may get a delay but alas, I'm not that lucky. Oh well, I won't look a gift horse in the mouth since I still have a 4-day work week. I can do that.
So sad. Yesterday an elementary teacher from my district (South Lebanon Elementary) was killed in a car accident. She was 28 years old. Another individual who was in the other car was also killed. We have way too many car accidents resulting in deaths in this area. I think yesterday there were three accidents where at least one person died. That's crazy and on a holiday? I remember when my former neighbors moved here from North Carolina, they commented to us how stunned they were with the amount of deaths due to car accidents our area has. I can't argue with that. It seems every morning there's at least one story on the news reporting that.Yesterday was a very lazy day for me. I did walk the boys and it was cold as shit. They each went a mile and I was fine with that...so were they. Beyond that, I just lazed around, read my book and tried to stay warm. We went to dinner early at Rusty Bucket before going to Steve's mom's visitation. We were home around 7:15 and went straight to bed. I watched a little TV but Jim immediately went to sleep and started snoring like an asshole. Dummy.
School should be pretty easy today although I do have a lot of grading to do from Friday. However, it's all on Google Form and shouldn't take too much time.
Dinner tonight will be Pasta a la Betsy. It's a Pioneer Woman recipe (actually, Betsy is her sister)...sort of a take on vodka pasta but with wine and shrimp. Jimmy loves it and I haven't made it in a while.
Okay - I guess I'd best get a move on. Happy Tuesday! Later!
