Happy To Be Wrong

I've never been so happy to be wrong. Kings levy passed! I'm really flabbergasted. I thought for sure, based on all the negative shit I saw on social media that it was doomed. But it passed, soundly. There still need to be changes in our district for how they spend money and I think this is a lesson learned and I hope the powers that be will not go back to their norm.

So happy that democrats in major races won. The big Loser (capital L) was trump in this election. Though he tried to stay out of the elections (no rallies and he only voiced an endorsement for NYC mayoral race on the day before) voters were clear through their votes that trump is unpopular, inept and I think voters remorse is a real thing.

Considering my anxious mind last night I slept okay. I woke up a couple times with some nausea but that wasn't a surprise. I've been having a lot of achiness with my right shoulder and it makes sleeping tough. I don't want to continually take ibuprofen but I might have to tonight before bed.

I know I already said it but I'M SO HAPPY OUR DISTRICT'S LEVY PASSED!

There wasn't much on the ballot in my area, just a couple board seats and then 2 levies - one for mental health (passed) and one for children's services which failed and that makes me sad for Anne. I always vote for these and I can't believe people don't put kids first. Dummies.

Dinner tonight: I'm not sure. I ended up making fish and chips last night rather than the cod bake I was going to make but I don't want to make that tonight because I'm going to try to mow the yard after school and there just won't be time. So, I'll either do leftovers or maybe I'll do hamburgers or sausage patties. We'll see.

Okay that's all I've got. Time to get a move on. Happy Wednesday. Later!
