Saturday's venture north is looking iffy. I've been keeping an eye on the winds and they aren't looking great. They're going to be around 25-35 mph coming from the west. That's a good direction for it to come from but that's still pretty gusty. I'll just have to keep an eye on Miller's and Billy's FB page. I'll be interested to see if they shut down later today and tomorrow because the winds over the next couple days are going to be higher than Saturday. Ugh. Oh well, we'll at least get off on Sunday and that will give me time to get my shit together it things don't work out for Saturday.
My IEP yesterday went off without a hitch. I didn't expect any different but you never know with freshman parents. I was done within 20 minutes which is a little long for me. It was a meeting set for 10:00 AM and when the mother came in, she said, "I just need to make sure I'm out by 10:45." I laughed and said, "You'll be long gone by then." Bonus that she actually perused the IEP draft that I'd sent her a week ago...that helps.
Dinner tonight: I'm really not sure. I had planned on Chicken Phillies but I'd have to go to the grocery and I can't do that during my plan today. I'll try to figure something else out.
I have a 2:45 Zoom meeting today with my financial planner. I'll have to skate out of work as soon as the busses skedaddle so I can get home in time.
OMG as we all know I've been keeping my eyes and ears OFF the news but holy shit! Did you see who that fuck has chosen for the Secretary of Education? Former WWE chief executive. Yeah, that's who you want heading up schools. Someone who's never stepped foot in a classroom as an educator! Fuck me! Fuck us all! We're all fucked.
