In regard to dinner, I thought about picking something up on my way back in but I'm just not thrilled by my choices. So, I'll whip up a cobb salad (one for Jim as well) and take it with me to eat at my desk...while I sit there with no one coming to see me. Dumb.
Mmm...this weather! It's lovely, right? That being said, I think it might be a bit too early for the pumpkin spice at Starbucks. It's not even September yet. Of course I don't partake in the phenom that is Pumpkin Spice. I'm sure those who are obsessed are thrilled that it comes out today. And don't get me wrong I'm more than ready for Fall...I guess I just want one or two more hot weekends to try and stretch out my tan.
One thing about Summer I'm ready to get rid of? The flowers in my flower boxes on my back deck. They're at that point where they're all leggy, drying out and dying and looking like shit. I'll probably rip them out this weekend which will just leave my hibiscus tree and bushes left out there. Oh, my herbs are out there as well but my basil has just about had it. Speaking of which, my rosemary was kind of a dud this year. I don't know why. Not that I mind because my rosemary usually produces way more than I can use so...you know.
K - well, as you can tell I have nothing to talk about. Things around here, as I settle into the school year are pretty humdrum. Let's hope it stays that way. I don't need any excitement at my job because that would probably mean mayhem.
