Thwarted Plans

I had plans to walk the boys after my arm and ab workout but alas, Mother Nature had a different idea. While I was working out, I heard thunder but didn't see that it was raining. The spot where I work out in my house is under pretty heavy tree coverage so I couldn't tell if it was raining. However when I went to my bedroom upon finishing it was a complete downpour. It's a tiny little cell but regardless, it's switched up my plans. I was also planning on riding my bike today but that may have to be pushed until tomorrow with the roads as wet as they are. Oh well, I'm flexible. I can do the recumbent instead and watch a show!

I'm actually not unhappy about this weather because we badly needed the rain. Our poor is more brown than green. Of course the amount of moisture in the air is disgusting but you take the good with bad, right?

My plans for the rest of the day are to finish my morning routine and then go to the grocery. From there, if the weather continues to be yucky like this I'll probably just read my books and watch my shows. I started watching Umbrella Academy yesterday. If you haven't watched it, it's quite entertaining. The premise: On the same day in October 1989, forty-three infants are born to random, unconnected women who showed no signs of pregnancy the day before. Seven are adopted by billionaire Sir Reginald Hargreeves. The children have "superpowers" and he then creates The Umbrella Academy and prepares his "children" to save the world. Elliot Page is in this series (formerly Ellen Page who was Juno) and they wrote his real-life transgender story into the show. Pretty cool. Anyway it's good.

Dinner tonight will be chicken Parm pie I think. I did the crispy onion chicken last night...it was really delicious. I'm totally liking chicken breasts again since getting my air fryers.

And that's about all I've got. Guess I should get a move on. I'll probably go next door to take care of the cats and then walk the boys. By then the storm cell should have passed.

K - happy Wednesday (my days are all screwed up). Later!
