Productive Day

Yesterday was VERY productive for me as I had 4 hours at my desk to work. I managed to get the next two weeks planned out and scheduled for posting on my Google Classroom. I also got my sub plans for next week done. I even managed to get to the grocery in the morning for needed dinner supplies. Today will be much the same but my focus will be on getting the rest of the year's lessons ready to roll. As chaotic as testing week(s) can be, it is nice to have the time to work, uninterrupted at my desk.

This time next week, I'll either still be sleeping or just getting up. Jim's surgery is one week from today but it's an early afternoon appointment so we'll actually get to sleep in for a bit. I'll also get to take care of the boys beforehand and Jim will "get" to walk Boo one last time before he rehabs. He goes today for his "pre-surgery" appointment and I'm assuming all will go well there. Fingers crossed that everything goes like clockwork and his recovery is quick, easy and painless. I'll keep you update.

Dinner tonight will be onion dip crusted chicken, probably broccoli and rice. I need to make something that won't make leftovers because we've got lots in the fridge. BTW - Jimmy loved the ranch chicken burgers last night. I knew he would.

Tomorrow will suck because I have a late night at school. It's the final late night (although I've missed 2 of the 4 this year) for the senior community service presentations. We have to be there from 4:30 - 8:00 but I'm hoping we'll scoot out a little early. We'll see. Between the time school lets out and 4:30, I'll head to Costco for a much needed shop. We're nearly out of TP and we can't have that.

Not much else to chat about. I finished listening to a book yesterday - Emily Giffin's The Lies That Bind. It was okay. A good listen but as per usual, the character's stupidity annoyed me. I'm reading a really good book right now too - Laura Dave's The Last Thing He Told Me. It's supposed to be a movie coming up with Jennifer Garner. It's one of those books I can't put down and causes me to lose sleep. Definitely recommended.

Okay well that's all I've got. Guess I should get going even though I'm in no huge rush. We have REALLY bad fog this morning. Visibility they say is zero. I'm on the fence about which route to take: Highway or back roads. We'll see when I get out in the car.

K - happy Wednesday. Later!
