I was just sitting here finishing up my breakfast and I said, "Oh, JEEZ!" And Jim said, "What happened?" And I said, "I burped and a little fruit juice flew out of my mouth...aren't you glad you asked?" HAHA!
So yeah, now I have a 5-day weekend (since I'm off tomorrow and called off Monday). I will post tomorrow but I'll be sleeping in a bit so, like today, it will be a little later than usual. Don't freak out!
I do have an IEP meeting today that was supposed to be in person but things happen. I emailed the parent and hopefully that won't be a problem for her to Zoom with me...we'll see. Some things just can't be helped.
Why don't kids read their emails?! I was up at 1:30 getting all my plans put together and realized at 3:30 that I'd forgotten to contact my kid 1st period (who is online) that I wouldn't be able to Zoom with him. And of course at 7:00, he got on for our normal meeting...because he didn't read his email. Annoying. That's the first thing kids should be doing every day...going to their school email to see if there's anything important that might impact their day.
Oh, and Scout's issues: He was sick for a couple days earlier this week but yesterday he seemed to have turned the corner. He didn't have any issues while I was at work and he's been eating well. Plus when I took him on his walk yesterday, his poop was solid (sorry). But then he was up, starting at 10:00 PM last night and got up every 2 hours or so until 6:00 when I finally got out of bed for good. The good thing about all this was he went to the door in the kitchen every time and barked loudly, alerting me that he was "touching cloth". Poor baby. I gave him some pumpkin with his breakfast this morning and will try to get him to drink some rice water.
