Holiday Beer!!!

I went to the store after school yesterday and on my list was Great Lakes Christmas Ale (one of my faves). Well, when I got to the beer department, they had a whole refrigerator display of Christmas/holiday beers! I mean...what was I going to do but buy a little of each!? So, I ended up with my GL Christmas Ale, some Shiner Holiday Cheer, Sierra Nevada's Celebration and then a new one - Taft's Santa's Bribe Christmas Cookie Ale!  I mean, could I be any happier!? It took everything in me NOT to have one of each last night. I did have a Taft's and it's my new favorite. It's flavored with cinnamon, ginger and vanilla and it is to DIE for! I feel like having one right now! But I won't! I can't wait to have one later and I'm going to have to stock up! And I'm going to have to head down to the actual brewery and try it on draft. So yummy.

Guess what!? My elliptical parts have shipped! They are scheduled to be delivered tomorrow! Awesome! Now I just have to hope that the parts I ordered actually work for my machine. They should though.

So today while I wait around for Jim's appointment I'll clean, do some yoga and make my menu for the week. If there's time, I'll also grocery shop. I need to get all this done so that tomorrow we can focus SOLELY on splitting wood. I'd like to get all that done tomorrow so we don't have to do anything but stack on Sunday. We'll see...sometimes my best laid plans get waylaid.


I made a delicious dinner last night (thanks to Anne and Maggie). It's was WW baked buffalo chicken tenders. I made my own skinny blue cheese sauce and it was so yummy. Plus I have leftovers for lunch today. Tonight we'll go out to dinner because I expect that we'll be at the doctor late. We're talking about going to Fireside Grill which is in Deerfield (his doc appointment is in Mason today). If it's too crowded there, we may just end up at Rusty Bucket...one of my faves. We'll see.
