Because I know you're dying to know if Jim managed to get to Aldi in time for the advent calendars: Yes, he did! He got 2 wine, 1 beer (because there was a 1 per customer limit) and 2 cheese. They haven't gotten the dog treat one but that's okay. I'm just so excited! Alcohol makes me so happy! HAHA!
I have an IEP today at 12:15. I hate when I have IEPs that aren't in the morning. But it shouldn't be too much a pain in my ass. I don't know this parent but from our contact so far, she's happy with her sons progress and that's all that counts.
First snow of the season is coming today but it won't stick. Well, it won't stick on the streets. The temps are going to drop significantly today too and by the time I get home, we're supposed to have below freezing temps. Brrrr! Monday into Tuesday, they're saying we might get our first accumulating snow overnight. It's rare to have a snow day (dare I say it) in November...we'll see.
Oh, so yesterday I got home from work and was doing my exercise when Jim came home. He said hello and I keep doing my thing. As I continued, the dogs started going ballistic...I called for Jim but he wasn't anywhere to be found. Seems our tree guys were over at our neighbors taking down a massive tree and saw Jim so came to talk. They had a massive amount of wood which he said he could dump in our yard to replace the wood they took when they took our last tree down. So now we have our wood replaced and a shit ton of work to do this weekend to find a place to stack it and then stack it. That's okay though...no complaints from this girl. It's enough wood for probably 2 year! Oh, and the tree guy also said that when we need to split it, he'll let us use his splitter for $50 (about $50 cheaper than what we normally get) and he'll deliver the splitter to us for the weekend! BAM! That's a man who knows how to treat a good customer! Plus we give him a lot of business with recommendations too.
