A New Favorite!!!

So Maggie told me last week about the Pumpkin Spice Thomas' English Muffins (and bagels) and of course I went looking for them immediately and of COURSE Kroger didn't have them (or were out).  So yesterday I checked again and YAHOO!  YIPPEE! They were there.  I bought two packages of each and plan on buying more.  I had me a muffin this morning and it was like eating cake for breakfast! It makes me so happy.  See, lately, I've not been as crazy for pumpkin flavored things.  Well, let me clarify, I just don't enjoy the pumpkin creamer anymore but I never liked the Starbuck's pumpkin flavor lattes. Anyway - I loves me some pumpkin muffins, bagels (although I haven't tried those yet but if the muffins were good...) and Oreos!  Loves me some fall!

In school news - the crazy testing/schedule starts today.  We got our assignments and kid assignments for tomorrow as well.  I'm a bit confused because there were certain kids I had excused from taking these tests but they are on the list.  Not sure if I'm stupid or the administration but I'm going to assume it ISN'T me.  We'll see. 

What else...oh...we're getting a ton of rain over the next several days and AWESOME!  The skylight in the kitchen is leaking.  I sent Jim up on the roof yesterday to caulk around the seams but he didn't do it right.  In fact, it seems to be leaking worse now.  Good job Jim!  I told him to caulk inside as well but he didn't listen.  Dumb ass!

Watched Walking Dead last night.  It made me so happy!  No one of significance died (although that's sure to change) and it started out with a major BANG.  Literally.  I look forward to a good season although watching gives me palpitations!  Truly - it's the best show!

And that's about all I've got.  I dreamt last night of quilts and quilting.  I need to figure out what I'm making next and get on it.  I'll gather up my scraps and see what I've got.
