Happy Anniversary to Jimmy and Me! Fifteen years ago today, Jim stole my tissues during a major allergy attack and I was forced to give him my phone number to get them back. It's a wonder I ever went out with him! And considering the snotty mess I was on the day we met, it's a wonder he wanted to go out with me. Ah...the power of a draft beer buzz!
Speaking of Jimmy...I know I'm sick of his damn drain...I can't imagine how over it he is. When I got home yesterday, Jim was in the shower. After he got out, I put a new bandage on and saw that the redness had once again reduced (though there is still some there) and the drainage had slowed way down. The consistency and color has changed and I'm not sure what that means. It's very very red now and Jim said this morning it's a bit thicker. (Sorry for the gross details). I may have him call the doc, just to see that's normal. Hope they don't feel bugged but that's what they are there for and I don't want Jim to get a further infection. I'll check it again here before I go.
He didn't sleep as well last night and I came downstairs to find him trying to sleep in his chair. Poor guy.
In other news - it's FRIDAY! I have a lot to do today because I need to get my first two IEPs complete. They are Tuesday and Wednesday next week. I think I'm mostly done but just need to make sure.
In student news: One of my kids - Linguini (I've spoken of him before...senior, autistic, cries a lot) - took his driver's test Wednesday. Failed. Ran a stop sign! HOLY SHIT! I've said for a while that guy shouldn't be on the road. Don't know what some parents are thinking.
K - my computer's about to restart so I need to wrap this up. Happy Friday. Later!
