My plans today? Nothing really. We already ate breakfast and I'm going to do a new core workout when I'm finished here. I'll try to rope Jim into joining me but it's a 25 minute workout and he won't be able to make it through (shit - I probably won't either). Afterwards, I'll finish up some laundry, maybe get a few things for the week together (clothes, lunch etc.) and then watch some football. Although at this point, who cares? I watched yesterday but it was a bit painful. We definitely didn't deserve to win but I'm still proud of my Bengals and say WHO DEY! (So sick of haters who can't just be fans and always have to dis and talk negative). I'm happy Green Bay won but felt sorry for Joe Webb...guy never stood a chance. Anyway - dinner tonight is spaghetti, salad and garlic bread...I'm hoping to get to bed relatively early and NOT drink so I sleep well.
School plans? I'm going to be starting Romeo and Juliet in my LA classes. Should be a challenge. I teach it using the "No fear" version of Sparknotes. (Sparknotes are like Cliff Notes for those of you not in the know...the "No Fear" is just Shakespeare translated into present day English). We'll read it all aloud and every student will have to have a part. I'm sure it will be painful and the kids will probably hate it but I'll try to make it fun. 6th bell is going to be tough because these kids can't read for the most part but what else is there to do? I'll probably have to rope Kim and Diane into reading as well...prepare yourselves ladies! World History - I'm going to show Oliver Twist during this next week. See, the problem is - we have one week left in quarter 2 and I'm getting a new student at that point so I want to wait until he gets there to start a new chapter. (I'll use any excuse to show a movie!)
Well, that's about all I have...except for a few cute pics of a sweet girl showing off her hats! She looks so good in hats!
That's my homey, reading her books.
Notice her hand in her pocket
Getting ready for bed, cuddling with Max.
K - I'm out...later!
