Jim's done it again! How many strikes should I give that guy before he's out? How does he forget the one job he has, every night, even when I remind him - 3 times? Unbelievable. So, yesterday was a doozie for me. I don't know why really. I had an IEP meeting and had to chase Jelly Belly (Vice-Principal) around because he can't read and didn't get me a sub. I sent him an email regarding this both last week and yesterday morning (as a reminder) that I would need a sub for 11:15. For some reason, this looks like "noon" to him. Other than that little headache though, I didn't have that big of a day. However, I was sooooooo tired and had such a massive headache that by 7:00 I was ready for bed. I took a bath, climbed in the sack and called down to Jim in the family room (using the phone intercom) just to say "goodnight" and "Don't forget to get the coffee ready". I had already said this 2 other times. He promised he wouldn't forget.
Guess what? Yup, he forgot. So, once again, my routine was messed up, by Jim. I had to make the coffee which is no easy feat when I'm barely awake, wait in the kitchen for the coffee to brew and my timetable for getting in the shower and back down to the kitchen was all kinds of effed up.
I'm actually not really pissed. It's so sad that I'm sort of resigned to these little issues regarding Jim anymore. Dude barely remembers to put on pants before he leaves the house. How am I supposed to expect him to remember the little things, like making coffee for the morning? I'm such a slave driver.
Oh, and tomorrow's weather is not looking good for the golf outing that Jim and I are helping Jane with after school. C'est la vie! We'll still have a good time: Dinner, cards, drinks.
K - I better head upstairs for a little toilet time. Too much info? Oh well. I just want to make sure you're all well-informed. Later.
