I rock! That's all I have to say. Course, you all knew that but the reason I rock right this minute is because: I FIXED MY OVEN!!! Yeah!!!
So, here's the story: Jim came home this afternoon for lunch (he's been working in Montgomery) because he FedExed that 2nd part to fix the oven, it was supposed to arrive by 10AM today and he wanted to have it fixed by the time I got home. Of course, as all things go, the part didn't arrive when it was supposed to so he didn't get to fix it.
Well, I got home and the part was here!!! Yippee!!! So, I walked the dogs and went to work. And don't you know that Jim "accidentally" took the all 10 of the flat-head screwdrivers with him? You know he did it on purpose because he didn't want me fixing the oven. Little did he know, however, that I had a secret stash of tools. Long story short - I took the oven apart, replaced all the parts and it is now working like a champ!!! I will knock on wood here just in case.
So that headache is now remedied. What will be next? I will put bets down on the roof or refrigerator. Anyone want to take that bet?
