I'm sick of underhanded people and their sneaky ways. I'm sick of broken promises. I'm sick of administrators hiding behind the mantra of "what is best for kids". How can something be good for kids that makes the teacher unhappy? It should not only be what is best for kids but also good for teachers and learning. I'm sick of people changing things because it "looks good" on paper. I'm sick of my head honcho trying to turn everything at my school into the school where he came from. Question: If the school where you came from was so good, why did you leave? Hey, and why not go back? I'm sick of my administrator and all his little lackeys who kiss his arse. UGH!!! I'm sick of LIARS!!!Now, I know that I need to calm down and sit back and let it all sink in but I'm having a hard time because things are never delivered to us face to face. No one is ever considerate enough nor do they have the balls to just tell us the "bad news" face to face. I feel like the next time my administrator actually shows the consideration of attending a planned meeting I just need to say, "So, can you just lay it all out on the table and tell us exactly what you plan for our department so we know what we're doing. Because obviously, how we feel means nothing to you. I just want to know, without wasting time trying to convince you of what may be best for all of us, exactly what I need do to prepare for next year. "
I'm frustrated and I need a nice big sip of something delicious and a hot bath. I think I'll eat dinner and then relax in a nice, hot bubble bath with my music blaring. Jim's lucky he's working late. Feel sorry for the dogs who will have to listen to me sing at the top of my lungs.

I was waiting for this post. And I second it wholeheartedly!!! I just want to know what's going on. Don't give us the false pretense of thinking our opinions really matter!! AHHHHHHHHHHHH!
