This is my new motto. I'm going to go to school, teach, maintain my paperwork for IEP's, write IEP's, communicate with parents and in general, follow the law. I don't want any more responsibilities than what I've listed above. I don't want to organize things for the department, I don't want to ensure that all individuals in the department are completing their paperwork on time and I don't want to be the "go to" person for the staff who may have questions (not that I'm that person now). Why? Because apparently, according to New Girl (NG), nothing that we've done in the past several years has been correct. Apparently, according to NG's special ed handbook (I think she must've written it), we have abused what the law says is correct in writing our IEP's and in running our department. And she didn't just let this be known to the department, she stated it to the staff. Man, she sure is making a sweet little spot for herself. Right up the ass of head honcho.
NG is like huge boil on the ass! You avoid dealing with it and you hope it will go away but until it does, it's annoying and irritating to have to deal with.
I'm just going to do my job correctly, so that no one can come back and say I've done something wrong. And that's it. Aside from Lisa, no one else will know my pain. Grin and bear it.

I'm there for ya!! (When are drinks being served?? We need to go to Steller's.) It's going to be interesting this year, but we'll just sit back and wait for it all to blow up in their faces. Like Sandy said today, "You reap what you sow." It will come back to bite them in the ass, and I hope it hurts like hell!!!
I feel your pain. It sounds exactly like what I went through last year. Always the last to know or not to know. I hate to say I saw it coming, but once a shithead always a shithead. He hides behind his " I am sorry for the lack of communication emails, I will do better next time", but as you know next time he does the same dam thing. He now has his new on board shitheads to do his dirty work so he can put out his "sorry emails." Sandy is right. Just hang in there because you will last longer. The bar is open. Let me know when you all are able and willing.
