Another Cloudless Day

So, I'm sitting here amid my dogs and used tissues thinking about what needs to be done today before going to Raeburn for some fun in the sun and relief from the coming heat. It's supposed to get to about 94 today and I'm taking advantage of the fact that I have a day off and can go hang in a pool! It's probably going to be one of the last times I'll be able to swim and tan before the end of the season and the closing of said pool. (My bottom lip is jutting out).

Anyway, Jim has already left for a bike ride - he'll meet me at Raeburn around 11ish and then we can drive home together. I'm hoping Trip and Susan will meet us there as well but with their kitchen in pieces, I'm betting that they're going to feel compelled to paint or whatever. Losers! Why would you work when you could hang with your sister? And play in the pool? I mean, granted, you'll probably get your arse kicked in volleyball but you'll still have fun!

I guess I need to try and get some work done as well - IEP's etc. - but I haven't gotten the program up and running to tap into the server at school and I'm too lazy right now to try. I know it'll just frustrate me so why go there? It's my day off. I should be relaxing.

My allergies aren't bad today. I got up and immediately took a pill hoping to beat the symptoms. It hasn't completely worked but I'm not a sneezing mess; just a snotty one. Mom says I should go and get some "local" honey. Apparently bees hold the secret to stemming my allergies. Nothing else is working so I'm going to try it. I think I know of a place that sells honey but it'll have to wait until Tuesday cause the place is on my way home from work. I hope my nose can hold out. The one good thing is that my allergies never act up at school. I've just jinxed myself!

Okay - must go shower, shave, scat etc.
