New Scoots And Other Stuff

So today, I went to the dentist (after nearly 4 months being on a call list for any cancellation they had because my usual hygienist moved to Tampa in March cancelling my original appointment). All went well; my teeth look "great" according to Dr. Sherman. The hygienist said the same and that she had to do very little for my cleaning. Yeah. It was, however, a new woman and she kind of hurt me with her poking, prodding and scraping. Oh well, at least my teeth didn't fall out. Great! Now I'm going to dream that recurring dream where my teeth are crumbling out of my mouth. Crap! They say that if you dream this it means you are worried about how others perceive you. Hmm...that doesn't sound like me!

So then I came home, made my grocery list, gathered my coupons and went Krogering. When I got home, I got dinner somewhat ready. Yes, it was only noon but we're having Momma's chicken salad (with curry), pasta salad and fried pickles. I made the salads and will begin the prep of the pickles here in a bit.

Then, I went to Kohls and got my new sneakers. For some reason, I wear the inside part of my sneakers out at the heel and my old ones were starting to rub pretty bad. Anyway, I love them and they were on sale so Yeah! When I showed them to the dogs, they all got really excited and ran to the front door thinking they were going on a walk. Oops, guess they aren't as dense as I had thought. Or, maybe I'm denser than they thought. Whatever

Oh, an update: Bubba has only pooed two times so far today. However, on our first walk, when we walked out the front door, he immediately lifted his leg on the nearest tree and peed for 21 seconds (I counted) and then moved on a few feet from there and peed some more (another 23 seconds). Count that yourself. It's a freaking long ass pee. Dude's a camel. Maybe that's why his ass is so big. It's like a camel's hump.
