Back In The Saddle

I feel 410% better - thank you to all the well-wishers out there - the two of you! I probably slept for 5 hours yesterday and then got another 8 hours last night. Much needed!

So today, because my Saturday routine got waylaid by illness, I am going to try and jam pack tons of crap into 2-3 hours, that way, I can get home before noon and enjoy the sun and weather. Plus, I think my babies have something special planned for me: a lickfest (they pin me down and kiss me) or a mommy sandwich. I don't know. I already got my Happy Mommy's Day bark from Sami and Bubba jumped on me about 5 times to tell me he loved me (or maybe he said he loved chewies - he's hard to understand sometimes). Zeke sat on my feet and gazed at me lovingly but he does that all the time. Every day is Mommy's Day to him. He's such a sweet Muffin Head!!!

So what are my other plans, you ask? Well, here in a few minutes, I will cook up my traditional Sunday breakfast (bacon - the dogs wait all week for Sunday and the bits of bacon I give them; pancakes - that varies per weekend - sometimes it's waffles, sometimes fried bread; and finally eggs - usually fried. They say a well-balanced breakfast gives you more energy for the day and causes you to eat less throughout). Then I will run to the grocery - I'll have to run through the aisles and no one at Kroger better get in my way or bug me or I'll run them over. Then, Jim and I are finally going to go test drive the Jeep Patriot (I better make sure they are open on Sunday). I also have laundry to do, ironing, must change the sheets and while I'm at the grocery, Jim will be vacuuming and dusting. (A little aside - Zeke just farted. He always tries to blame it on Bubba; that or he looks at his butt like it's speaking to him but he doesn't know what it's saying).

So there you have it. I will update later about the Jeep. Cross your fingers because it's starting to stress me out and if I don't like this car, I'll have to just go shopping for a Jalopy! (I like this one...Flintstonish).

Glad you are feeling better. It sounds like you are going to have a jam packed, fun filled mother's day! I too like the flinstone type car, but do let us know how the jeep shopping goes.

I'm happy you're feeling better. It sucks to not feel well. Anyway, I hope all goes well with the Jeep test drive. I'll be checking back to see how it goes. I have to go grocery shopping today too, but I am definitely getting a late start. I worked on school stuff from 6 - 11am. I am soooo ready for the next two weeks to be over. Later!
