Week In Recap

My week in recap:
1. Got new toys to play with - wheeeeee!!!!
2. Learned that I will be taking a trip to Mobile Alabama in November (Maggie and Charlie will make it legal and quit living in sin)
3. The dishwasher decided to go on the blink, reminding me that life generally does suck and so do smarmy sales dudes.
4. My sweet Bubba is a sh$% mouth (he apparently has a new habit where he eats poo because my husband is inattentive and lets him. He denies that it is his fault).
5. The fact that I work with at least one complete moron was reaffirmed this week in a number of incidents (I feel sorry for the regular ed teacher that will be forced to deal with her next year for 3 periods a day; it will be a total nightmare and absolutely reflect horribly on our department - am I too negative?).
6. The administration in my school is sleazy and they deserve to go to hell for the terrible way they treat certain people in my district. I would love to say that "they'll get theirs" but just like my life and the dishwasher thing, life isn't that fair.
7. Teenagers are scuzzy, redneck punks; I wish the little f&%kers at my school would just get it over with and commit their crimes and go to jail now and put the rest of us out of our misery (cause you know they're going to end up there anyway)!
8. Grey's Anatomy made me cry - AGAIN - reminding me that I shouldn't drink wine before watching it because I become a sloppy mess.
9. I need to start exercising more/again because I've become a flabby, wiggly mess and no one wants to see that in a bathing suit. But you will because I don't want to be a flabby, wiggly, pale mess.
10. My need to move to a small town in Scotland or Maine was reaffirmed this week when gas prices spiked to $3.25 (that was the highest I saw). How much money could I save if I were able to just walk everywhere? Ooh, and then, I wouldn't be so flabby and wiggly.

So today Jim and I are going to the track (Riverdowns) where we will watch a few races and then place our bets on the Derby. Tonight we are going to see Cullen in his school play and afterwards have dinner with dad, Cullen, Trip and Susan at Bacall's (Becky is out of town). Should be fun. Hopefully this year the kid in front of us won't fart the whole time, causing me to laugh my arse off and distract me from watching my little brother perform. Good times!
